This option is a great enhancement of current Caller-ID and SPF anti-spam methods. SMTP server in Kerio Connect 8.0 can be now configured to require user authentication when accepting email from a sender with email domain defined in Kerio Connect. Existing PTR DNS entry is a vital requirement for normal SMTP servers used for sending emails. This option improves efficiency of spam filtering by rejecting the SMTP connections from bot-nets or infected computers.
